Applewhite goes down in history

Penelope Boyer, one of the community leaders who built the Land Heritage Institute coalition just emailed to say that City Council approved the transfer of 1,200 acres of former Applewhite land to the non-profit, adding "now the real work begins, FINALLY!!!" Congratulations to Penelope, Ramon Vasquez, Peggy and Mark Oppelt, Alston Thoms, and all of the activists who've worked so hard to realize this project.
