Individuals and the Environment

Guest speaker is Peter Bella, former Natural Resources Department Director of the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) and air quality expert. Bella will discuss climate policy on the local and state levels, through governments and through volunteer activities by nongovernmental organizations. We will also hear comments from Stephen Ackley, Research Associate Professor, UTSA Department of Geological Sciences. Ackley was awarded the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Service Medal for service in Antarctica.
