Yarn Dawgz — homegrown guerrilla knitting

After blindly speculating last Sunday that the bandit knitting covering a light pole near Blue Star might be the work of outside agitators — neither Artifacts nor Blue Star Contemporary had a clue as to who really left the pole-warmer next to the Riverwalk pathway — readers informed us that the graffiti knitting was the work of local talent Yarn Dawgz. This was confirmed by the Dawgz themselves in an email from member Dino Foxx. He gave us a link to a video that shows the yarn works being installed, and a heads-up on new work by the group of “dude knitters.” Look for  a “big installation for CAM [Contemporary Art Month] at the Pearl Brewery.”  Details here soon.
