The Kronkosky Charitable Trust Foundation has made a grant challenge to encourage new support for ARTS San Antonio. Each dollar donated by new supporters of ARTS SA before August 11 will be matched one-to-one. Give a buck, deliver two. The challenge will match donations up to $25,000, and extends to those who have not donated in the last two years, too.
ARTS SA delivers performing arts at the big theaters-Empire Theatre on North St. Mary’s, Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University, Municipal Auditorium and the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall. Next up is “An Evening with Julio Iglesias,” at the Majestic Theatre, July 14. Past presentations have included Yo-Yo Ma’ Silk Road Ensemble, and the yearly Christmas special Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker.
What really gets our attention, however, is their ARtsTEach program, which brings top dance, theatre and music groups, plus literature and visual arts to primary and secondary schools in Bexar County, along with workshops for students.
Your donation is tax-deductible, do it online now, or contact:
