We're not sure what Political Art Month is, but it seems to be happening in July. Brainchild of local art gadfly  Gene Elder, PAM was marked last year by a special edition of the now seldom published Voices of Arts Magazine and lots of emails. Here's a message from a recent post:

"Homeland Aesthetics is the theme for July 2011.

Of course artists do not have to limit themselves to this. God forbid we have a limitation. But it will give many an idea."

This year VOA will release a fat political special edition on Bastille Day, July 14, and there's a calendar online just waiting for you to add your political art event.

Hallucination, hogwash, or reality, we're reporting this. So sign up if you dare.

Here's the link. Annie Sprinkle seems to like PAM, so we'll take a chance on it, too. For more info on PAM, go here.
