Commissioner Stern plays the part of Captain Obvious, cancels more 2011 - 2012 games

On a day that saw the NBA's first players file antitrust lawsuits against the league, the NBA officially cancelled all games scheduled through December 15.

To date, more than a quarter of the 2011 - 2012 season has been cancelled.

The news isn't shocking as Commissioner David Stern frequently made it clear that at least 30 days were needed after owners and players agreed on a new collective bargaining agreement before the season would begin.
