Welp, it's that time of year again when our beloved Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and the ever tasty Dogfish Head Brewing Co. get together and throw the Off-Centered Film Festival. Slated to go down April 18-20 in Austin, the festival's theme this year is "Hip-Hop, Off Centered."
Submissions are being accepted now through March 1st and we're telling you this because we think San Antonio should go ahead and win all the awards this year. Because you've got the talent. We know. We've seen your work. It also doesn't hurt that the legendary Austin filmmaker Richard Linklater apparently said recently that if he were a filmmaker starting out now, he would do it in San Antonio. I mean, he's not wrong.
