If you’ve been keeping up with Contemporary Art Month, the time has come to cast your vote for the Cammies. With titles like “The Through the Looking Glass Award for Bending Perceptions” and “I Am Not Spock Award for Doing the Unexpected,” the awards (above) are presented during the CAM Closing Party, a celebration that’s not unlike a cast party after a play. Hosted by the Linda Pace Foundation and its one-acre CHRISpark, the event features live entertainment by the Hometown Artist Rodeo (with performances by Ken Little and Rodeo Ho Ho, Gary Sweeney and Mat Kubo, Hyperbubble, Mark Little Trio, Chris Sauter, Rick Frederick, and George Zupp), an exhibition of more than 30 works from the Foundation’s collection, refreshments by Say.She.Ate., plus beer, wine, and margaritas. $10, 7-11pm Friday, CHRISpark, 111 Camp. Voting ends at sunrise on Friday at contemporaryartmonth.com/vote-2013. Check out our full online calendar of upcoming events here: calendar.sacurrent.com.
