The WEBB Party is the biggest annual fundraising push for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation, a nonprofit that’s been preventing the spread of HIV through education, counseling, and testing since 1986. Serving up Fiesta glam with an over-the-top, pop art-inspired fête inspired by the likes of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, “Pop Candy” promises some of the season’s finest people watching and wildest photo ops. Emceed by Crys Stone, the evening includes a silent auction, tasty bites provided by an array of top-notch eateries, a “POP-Up” runway show by local designer Agosto Cuellar, a dance performance by Austin City Showgirls, beats by DJ Amo, and live music by “wandering soul/frontlawn blues/jigsaw jazz” trio Sugar Skulls. Official after parties follow at the Bonham, SA Country Saloon, and along the Main Strip. $55-$90, 7:30pm-midnight Friday, Lambermont Estate, 950 E Grayson, (210) 225-4715, webbparty.net.
