Think Cinco de Mayo or Mother's Day are the next big holidays coming up? Well, you're wrong and The Force may not be strong with you. Star Wars Day, an unofficial geek-holiday, is coming up this Monday. Any fan worth their weight in republic credits has to celebrate May The Fourth in style and thankfully there are some ways to do just that coming up soon. To Celebrate May The Fourth Be With You 2015, local businesses are hosting Star Wars-themed events that would make a Chewie growl with anticipation.
May the Fourth Star Wars Celebraton At The Korova
The Korova will be hosting a free marathon of five Star Wars films. They will be providing full bar service starting at noon along with food like hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, pickles and candy to replicate the movie-going experience inside the club. Did you notice that only five of the movies would be screened? Mercifully, the Korova will not be showing The Phantom Menace because mixing alcohol with Jar Jar Binks is a recipe for disaster. The movies will be screened in "machete" order, attempting to frame the stories of Attack of The Clones and Revenge of the Sith as flashbacks from Darth Vader's perspective. This means Episode IV and Episode V will be screened first and second. Once Vader reveals he is Luke Skywalker's father in The Empire Strikes Back the screening will switch to Vader's view of things in Episode II and Episode III concluding with Return of the Jedi at midnight. If you're hung over the next day at work just remember: You at least get to wake up after a night of Star Wars related fun, the poor unsuspecting folks on Alderaan don't get that privilege.
Not feeling social? Want to stay in a galaxy far, far away from others but still want to get in on the celebration from the safety of your own home? Here are a few things you should be doing on May The Fourth should you decide to stay in.

Guest conductor Stuart Chafetz will lead the orchestral performance, promising to not only play famous tracks from Williams's work with Star Wars but with selections from Harry Potter, Jaws, Schindler's List and Indiana Jones.
