What Emoji Do Texans Use The Most?

If you ever wondered which emoji are used in Texas more than any other state, then you're in luck. A new interactive map was released today with the answer.

SwiftKey, maker of a popular keyboard app for Android and iPhone, released the U.S. Emoji Report, which details each state's emoji-using habits. The company compiled the map after analyzing over 1 billion emoji typed by iOS and Android users.

If you thought that Texas was full of perverts who were using the eggplant emoji as text message innuendo, then you're wrong. The eggplant-loving perverts are in Nevada.

No, the emoji Texas uses more than others is this one.

For some reason that cannot immediately be explained, Texans use the grapes more often than any other state, even though this Texan has never used or received the grape emoji ever in his life. Everyone else in this state must be planning a lot of trips to Hill Country wineries. The other two emoji Texans use more are the light bulb and the orange. You'd expect Texas' top three would include the cow, the football and the handgun, but it turns out Texans don't always play to type.

Which emoji do we use least? That would be the horse, the four-leaf clover, and the skier. That last one totally makes sense. Here's a map of what each state claimed as their own. You can click here to see it in its full interactive glory.
