The Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum has put out a call for national and international artists.

Last year, nearly 400 artists applied for Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum's open call.

Two group shows — Everyday is Ordinary and Transmission — were curated from the hundreds of applications, along with two solo exhibitions that featured Cynthia Gregory and Emily Fleisher. Lastly, a two-person exhibition featuring Liz Rodda and Charlie Morris was also chosen.

Applications are being accepted through November 30. You can find out more about submission requirements here.

As for Texas artists, fret not. A separate open call will be made in spring of 2016.

A committee of curators, working artists, collectors and art professionals will review submissions for consideration in 2016/2017 exhibitions.
