Shea Serrano, through his work as a writer, best-selling author, Twitter personality and social media philanthropy, has been putting San Antonio on the map for fans all over the world.

Now, the San Antonio native will bring his experiences to television, specifically to the ABC network.

Serrano shared on Twitter (duh) that he entered a deal with the network and will work with Mike Schur (The Good Place) on a new family comedy based on Serrano's life, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Although it's not confirmed that the show will take place in San Antonio, Serrano's role as a writer in the pilot episode and co-executive producer throughout the show means it is guaranteed to include inside jokes that San Antonians can appreciate.

The untitled series will focus on Serrano's experience growing up with different teachings of manhood from his five uncles.

No other information is available at this time, but the news alone is big.
