Kawhi Leonard Will Make Season Debut Tonight

It's confirmed, forward Kawhi Leonard will play in tonight's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Coach Gregg Popovich told KSAT Tuesday afternoon that Leonard will return to the court tonight, making it his first appearance this season (though Bleacher Report confirmed that Leonard will have a minutes restriction). He's missed more than 30 games since the fatal injury involving San Antonio Enemy #1 Zaza Pachulia.



Yep, this nasty play during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Popovich kept Leonard off the court to be on the safe side (even going so far as saying he's too valuable to bring back early), so tonight's game should be exciting to say the least.
