Mariachi Lab Returns to the Pearl to Close Out Olé Programming

  • Pearl Brewery
The Pearl is closing out its extensive program Olé, San Antonio — a summer-long, multi-sensory celebration of our city’s cultural connections to Spain — with the return of one of its finest events of last year: Mariachi Lab.

In its second year, as in its first, Mariachi Lab offers up a series of workshops, activities for kids and, of course, mariachi performances showcasing players of all levels. The only ticketed event, a special show at Pearl Stable, will feature Vanessa Del Fierro of Las Cornelas and renowned Spanish guitarist Luis Gallo ($25, 2-6pm, 307 Pearl Pkwy.).

Meanwhile, other performers include representatives from mariachi crews and organizations around town (and farther), from school mariachi programs, and local legends like Trío de Cantares de Mi Tierra and Eva Ybarra Mariachi Trio.

Free, Sun Sept 16, 1-8pm, Pearl Brewery, 200 E. Grayson St., (210) 212-7260,
