Matthew McConaughey Takes to Twitter to Encourage Texans to Vote

Uvalde native Matthew McConaughey took to Twitter over the weekend in an effort to promote voter participation among Texans.

The actor, who now resides in Austin, McConaughey shared a video from the voting line.
With a #ivoted hashtag attached to the tweet, McConaughey skipped his classic "Alright, alright, alright" line and said, "In Texas, in line, early voting, get out there, cast yours, just keep living."



In the replies, one user shared a photo of McConaughey posing with U.S. Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke.
In August, McConaughey appeared in a PSA to end sex trafficking with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
