SAN ANTONIO MUSEUM OF ART

Doubling as a gift-seeker’s go-to as well as a festive opportunity to catch up on (or revisit) exhibitions like “Becoming John Marin: Modernist at Work,” “Harry Bertoia: Sculptor and Modernist Designer” and the recently “re-imagined” Texas art collection, the San Antonio Museum of Art’s annual Museum Shop Holiday Fair brings an eclectic assortment of giftable goods out to the West Courtyard for a creative browsing/shopping experience complemented by more than 30 artists associated with the San Antonio Potters Guild. Besides whimsical socks celebrating Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and other icons, artistic cards, unique home accessories and jewelry you’re unlikely to find anywhere else in town, the fifth annual affair promises “everything from bowls and cups to ornaments, prints, clothing, scarves and decorative sculptures in ceramics and glass.”

Free, Sat Dec. 1, 10am-5pm, San Antonio Museum of Art Courtyard, 200 W. Jones Ave., (210) 978-8100, samuseum.org.
