NAO , 312 Pearl Parkway, will host the "Icons of the Andes" wine dinner, and want to invite attendees to experience 16 South American and Spanish wines and during a fourcourse dinner created by NAO's Executive Chef Geronimo Lopez on October 11. A reception will start at 6 p.m. with eight featured wines and amuse-bouche. A four-course dinner will follow at 7 p.m.
Pascual Toso Sparkling Brut, Guarachi Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay and Santa Ema Amplus One are some of the wines that will be featured during the reception.
Two wine selections will be paired with each course of the dinner.
The dinner will include conch, mussel and shrimp cocktail paired with Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc and Santa Ema Chardonnay Reserve; Chifa-style rice will be paired with Guarachi Pinot Noir and Resalte Crianza. The main dish will include a fire-roasted aged rib eye paired with Norton Privada and Pascual Tosso Alta Syrah Reserve. For dessert, the meal will conclude with chocolate pot de creme paired with Achaval Ferrer Quimera Malbec and Kaiken Ultra Malbec.
Guests will be able to mingle with the South American and Spanish winemakers and brand ambassadors such as Montes Winemaker Alberto Eckolt, Kaikan Brand Manager Salome Miller, Santa Ema Winemaker Andres Sanhueza, and more.
Tickets are $100 per person plus tax and 17 percent gratuity.
