Two birds, one stone. Tim Byres, owner and chef of restaurants SMOKE and Chicken Scratch in Dallas, will sign copies of his first cookbook Smoke: New Firewood Cooking this Saturday, November 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Twig (306 Pearl Pkwy, Ste. 106).
The book features recipes for feasts including Gulf Coast Seafood Boil, Tejano Barbacoa, Pig Roast and Campfire Breakfast. Byres, named Food & Wine Magazine’s “The People’s Best New Chef" in 2012, will be in San Antonio for Meatopia TX.
