The Monterey Celebrates Third Anniversary With Giant Dose of Nostalgia

Gooey grilled cheese is making a comeback.

It seems like just yesterday The Monty opened its doors. To celebrate its third anniversary, the Southtown fave will bring back its original servers to dish out classic dishes made by chef Quealy Watson for one night only.

The restaurant will open tonight (Monday, November 11) at 6 p.m. to serve upĀ  favorite nostalgia-riddled dishes such as grilled cheese sandwiches, Brussels sprouts with sweet chili, fried chicken, pork belly/miso caramel, Frito pie po'boy, clams/lamb broth, bone marrow, ghost chili molten cheesecake and Mexican vanilla panna cotta/frito praline.
