The space that once housed Green Vegetarian Cuisine's
original location is now the home to Mid-Point Grill (1017 N Flores). Opened by industry vet David Vidal and chef Tony Torres, the restaurant "will focus on using higher quality food products to include: all natural angus beef, organic, non-GMO produce, free range poultry, grass fed beef and wild caught fish," according to the Mid-Point's Facebook page.
Dishes will range from $10 to $25; Mid-Point Grill will open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday-Thursday.
The eatery will be a part of tonight's First Wednesday celebration with neighbors Taps y Tapas
and Alamo Bike Shop
starting at 6 p.m. with samples of the menu, live music and art.
(H/T to Denise Aguirre of Taps y Tapas for giving us the heads up)
