Bring on the burn
If there is one thing about Texas even native Texans can’t stand, it’s the unpredictable weather. Just as we were bracing for the heat to hit, here comes the Fall--round three. Well, I’ve had enough. With the sun tucked away behind the clouds and falling leaves, I sought summer the best way I knew how, at the bottom of a shot glass. What I came up with not only shines orange like the sun on a summer afternoon, but brings the heat as well. Warning: This combustible concoction will be more than a memory the next morning
2 ounces Fireball whiskey
.5 ounce habanero hot sauce
Shake both together vigorously. Serve chilled. Skull shot glass optional but seemed appropriate. Tums recommended.
