's (125 E Houston) own Chef John Russ is hosting a Creole brunch on Sunday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Frederickburg's Marktplatz as a part of the Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival. The brunch menu includes crawfish summer rolls, mini crawfish pies, crawfish po'boys, crawfish étouffée, Cajun eggs Benedict and banana fosters. Tickets
are $55 each or $450 for a table of eight.

(312 Pearl) will cook up barbacoa and Big Red brunch every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Chef Jeff White is adding barbacoa a la carte dishes ($12), Big Red Sangria ($5) and Big Red Floats ($8) to the Sunday brunch menu.
South Texas Heritage Pork
(2890 Lucas) has been chosen to provide one of their custom fed heritage hogs for the Grand Cochon 555
culinary competition in Aspen. To help raise funds for the event, South Texas Heritage Pork is taking $25 donations. Each donation will have the chance to win one whole roaster pig to be picked up late summer or early fall.
