Sea Island Shrimp House (multiple locations) will offer a new summer entree to its menu. The fish Isabel is a wild-caught Atlantic whitefish in a fresh lemon butter sauce with artichokes, mushrooms and tomatoes served with steamed vegetables, rice pilaf and a toasted baguette for $11.99.
The dish can also be ordered with Texas Gulf shrimp or a Cajun-style crawfish topping for $12.99. Through August, Sea Island is also serving glasses of strawberry lemonade for $2.99.
Umai Mi (555 W Bitters) will have an open house and mixer to celebrate Chef Jason Dady on the cover of May’s issue of NSIDE Magazine on Thursday, June 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. Handcrafted cocktails and tasty hors d’oeuvres will be served.
