Shot of the Week: Root Beer

This week’s shot has no theme. It’s all about flavor–A southern favorite at that. Think about being a kid again, popping open a crisp, ice-cold bottle of root beer on a steamy summer day. Try to remember that tingling on your tongue and in the back of your throat. Now imagine that same feeling as a happy hour special for adults—yeah, it’s like that. This shot is sweet and crisp with a kick, but it’s mild enough that you don’t have to stop after one. I wouldn’t recommend it for root beer floats, but it’s sure to have you on cloud nine.

Ingredients:

1 ounce root beer vodka

1 ounce Jagermeister

Splash of Coke

Pour Jager’ and root beer vodka into a shaker tin. Shake until chilled. Pour into shot glass and top with a splash of coke. Cheers!
