Booze News: Yoga at Tacoland, Frankenbike and Belgian Beer Week at The Flying Saucer

This entire week, The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (11255 Huebner) will be pouring brews in honor of Belgian Beer Week. Keep on the lookout for special glass releases and new taps each day.

Taps y Tapas (1012 N Flores) and Alamo Bike Shop (1016 N Flores) bring Frankenbike, a bicycle swap-meet, to their site with beer, sangria, wine and entree specials available for purchase. Taps from Independence Brewing Company will be the featured brewery for the day. Admission is free and open to the public. The event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19.

Max's Wine Dive (340 E Basse) presents Flight School on Sunday, July 20, starting at 4:30 p.m. This week's installment will focus on Rosé wines with a tasting of four different styles from all over the globe. Tickets are $30 per person or you can purchase a 3-pack ticket bundle for $75 per person or a six-pack bundle for $146 per person. You can buy your tickets here.

On Tuesday, July 29, Viva Tacoland (103 W Grayson) and Branchline Brewing Co. present "Tap That Asana," a night dedicated to craft beer and yoga. Guests can participate in this all-level course and rehydrate with a cold one from Branchline. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.
