Burger-versary at Big Bob's
H-E-B (multiple locations) held its first H-E-B's Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best contest and Nanette Watson's Frio Farms (just up the road in Concan) was tapped to receive the top $25,000 prize and a chance to have their extracts on the shelves of H-E-B in 2015. We can't wait to cook with their array of extracts that include Bourbon & Cane Sugar, Rum & Honey and Tequila & Agave, and a plethora of other traditional flavors.
La Madeleine Country French Cafe (multiple locations) is celebrating the end of summer Thursday, August 28 all day by helping parents, and their kids, cool off with a free glass of La Madeleine ice tea.

Big Bob's Burgers' Downtown (100 N Santa Rosa) location will celebrate a year of operation on Wednesday, September 3 at 6:30 p.m. with a beer samples, live music, free parking after 6 in the parking lot across the street and the return of the 50/50/50 burger made with a half ground chuck, half ground bacon patty, topped with pulled pork and tons of cheddar cheese. Yum.
