Get those coconut shells ready, y'all. The owner of Tapa Tapa Truck, Rudolfo Martinez is teaming up with Esquire Tavern bartender Roy Guerrero to open Concrete Jungle at 1628 S. Presa.

The bar, opened by these longtime friends, will focus on Caribbean tiki drinks with a strong focus on rum (Guerrero's admitted first love) and mezcal, which Guerrero says he's had the privilege of learning extensively about through Esquire Tavern's Houston Eaves (who is currently working with Mezcal Vago in Oaxaca).

While the menu is still in the works, patrons can expect classic tiki bebidas, and boozy punchbowls, along with a food menu created by Martinez. Concrete Jungle is slated for a December 1 opening.
