The Crossroads Kitchen folks are taking a breather next week as they lend their space at Faust Tavern (517 E Woodlawn) to Dave Rizo and Becka Rodgers. Rizo and Rodgers, area cooks who've been dating for the past 3 and a half years, will host Stand Banh Mi on 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. starting Friday, February 6 through Sunday, February 8.

The menu is still in the works, and the pair are working to make sure vegan options are available, but you can expect fun takes on the classic Vietnamese banh mi. Rizo mentioned a few maybes including curried fried chicken banh mi, barbacoa banh mi and maybe some donuts ... all made from scratch.
