At around 11 p.m. last night the infamous Brisket Bandit allegedly jumped on Reddit to host an Ask Me Anything under the username BrisketBandit. About 20 comments have already been submitted including many users asking for proof that he is indeed the Brisket Bandit. Unfortunately, the user didn't provide any concrete proof, as he's mostly likely just some ass. It's unclear whether it's the same funny guy behind the @brisketbandit Twitter handle, which launched on February 24.

Other than asking for proof, some users are actually asking him legit questions. Some are asking why he does it, what he's going to do with hundreds of pounds of brisket and what his best rub recipe is. My favorite question was sent in by user terterterret, and what he wanted to know was, "How do you, as a brisket, rob others?" We think we laughed a little too hard at that one.

The bandit was unofficially linked to a break in at Dignowity Meats (1701 E. Houston St.). If y'all remember he also hit Two Bros. BBQ Market (12656 West Ave.) back in January. Then he struck twice in February when he hit B&B Smokehouse (2627 Pleasanton) and Augie's Barbedwire Smokehouse (2709 N. St. Mary's).

Whoever this dude is, he's definitely got a serious amount of brisket hidden away in a freezer somewhere. We guess while he's not cooking he has the time to get on Reddit and taunt the BBQ community of San Antonio.
