San Antonio is saying goodbye to those dog days of summer with it's second annual Raspa Fest 2015, hosted by Big Daddy's Eats and Treats at Rosedale Park. Not only will you have the chance to sample a city's worth of stacked sweets (try your luck at the raspa-eating contest for a speed trial), but an entire carnival will be at hand along with live music, freestyle dance-off, door prizes and even a pet adoption hosted by San Antonio Pets Alive! Vendors will also compete for the honor of the city's best raspa, including Big Daddy's, Chamoy City Limits and Lil Mommas Frozen Treats

Event appearances include 2MUN2, Angel Gonzalez. King Kyle Lee, Trinire, La Tropa F, Jeffrey Charles, Street Talk Band, Grupo Folklorico de Bendiciones y Mariachi Inolvidable and Las Altenas. $7 pre-sale, $10 gate, free admission for kids 12 and under, 10am-11pm, Saturday, August 15, 340 Dartmouth St., (210) 207-7275
