Two crown jewels of San Antonio are joining forces at long last. Starting the first week of August, Bakery Lorraine
will be teaming up with the DoSeum
to bring new menu items to the DoSeum Cafe. According to a press release the two sent out today, the menu will feature Bakery Lorraine's famous Parisian macarons and divine pastries in addition to child-friendly items such as house made applesauce, a grilled cheese sandwich and an almond butter with peach or grape jelly sandwich. For hungry adults, the cafe will offer tasty options like avocado toast, a chicken salad sandwich and a chop salad.
Since being established in 2011 by chefs Anne Ng and Jeremy Mandrell and operator Charlie Biedenharn, Bakery Lorraine has quickly become one of San Antonio's most popular and beloved sweet stops by serving handmade French pastries using only the finest ingredients. It has been named one of the best new bakeries in the U.S. by Food & Wine

"We are thrilled to be expanding more and now partnering with a San Antonio favorite like the DoSeum," Biedenharn said in a prepared statement.
