Frosé. All. Day
Listen, San Antonio isn't always ahead of the curve, but we like it that way.
"I don't really like doing things just because they're popular," says Omar Cormier, general manager of The Brooklynite. "I come from a serious cocktail-making background, but I'm a bit of a jokester — I want to make crappy old drinks taste good."
So a year after frosé became the "it" drink in both costs, The Brooklynite is finally serving up their own version. At $8 a pop, the frosé is made with brut rosé, lemon jice, and a strawberry chamomile syrup.
The result is sweet without being cloying, easy-drinking and will be your drink of choice this season. If Cormier is feeling generous, your garnish will be far from basic. The frosé will be part of the bar's summer menu.
