The head chef of Davila's BBQ
will take part in a kitchen takeover at Restaurant Gwendolyn
, serving up specialty barbecue on June 29 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Chef Adrian Davila will bring barbecue to Victorian-inspired Restaurant Gwendolyn for the first time. Davila is planning a five-course dinner that stays true to Restaurant Gwendolyn's practices of making everything by hand and with locally sourced ingredients. The one-night-only menu will feature items such as a lollipop lamb chop on fire-roasted chimichurri with shaved shishito peppers and lime raspas. Reservations for the $75-per-person feast are required.
Davila is known for his restaurant in Seguin, his soon to be released cookbook and his appearance on Food Network's BBQ Blitz
