Holy Mole!

Centro Cultural Aztlan will be hosting the
9th Annual Mole Throwdown. This fundraising event will unite art, music, culture and food in effort to promote Chicano/Latino culture, while benefiting Centro Cultural Aztlan’s year-long programming.

Local restaurants and chefs will donate dishes, including an ice cold beer to compliment, that are sure to fulfill your cultural appetite. After sampling mole, guests can vote for their favorite and a new winner will be announced.

This throwdown will be more than just food, with works of art to be featured in a silent art auction. Artists of featured art pieces are those who have contributed and supported Centro Cultural Altzan for more than three decades.

This event will also work toward supporting traditions such as Dia de Los Muertos, Virgen de Guadalupe Exhibit and the Lowrider Festival.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. General
admission tickets are $40 each and donation levels will be available.
