Fans of Press Coffee don't have to be too sad about the Alta Vista shop  closing on October 22. While owners Bronson Holbrook and Natalie Nazarewicz are being forced out of their business following an "exorbitant rent increase," they are not giving up just yet.

The couple/co-owners have plans to relocate the business, either at a storefront, food truck or in pop-up fashion. And they're asking for your help to make that happen.

A PRESS ON fundraising event will take place this Sunday, October 15 and will bring you live jazz, raffle drawings and entertainment from Wayne Holtz, Holli Cuomo, Tanveer Arora, Christopher Breakell and our very own Chris Conde.

Hosted by Bryan Powell, the all-ages event gives you the chance to do your part in saving Press Coffee through donations, though you can do that even if you swing by the shop earlier in the day. Just be sure to bring a lawn chair if you plan to stick around for the main event.

Sunday, October 15, 4-7 pm, 606 W. French Place, (210) 602-6590.
