My how time flies.

The Brooklynite first opened its doors on October 13, 2012 and San Antonio has had a cocktail in its hand ever since. The bar, which helped launch Stay Golden Social House, Rumble and The Last Word, will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Friday, October 20 with a throwback bash.

Bartenders of years past will be shaking tins (including Elyse Blechman of Houston and last year's second place winner of Speed Rack Nationals), and the menu will feature $5 classic Brooklynite cocktails. The event will feature "plenty of Champagne," cake, as well as the unveiling of potraits of the top three customers of the last year.

The anniversary party runs 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday.
