Hawx Burgers Adds Churro Fries, Brunch to Lineup

  • Jessica Elizarraras
Two years into the biz and Hawx Burger & Electro Lounge is jumping into the brunch mix.

Owner Christian Hawx might be known for his loaded Norteño burger and extra large order of spiral cut Asiago truffle fries, but the 26-year-old is taking things down a notch...slightly. A new personal sized order of the fries is now available for $4.85.

New additions also include sweet potato fries patrons have asked for, nacho fries topped with grilled jalapeños, pico, avocado, cheese and a chipotle mayo drizzle, and for dessert churro fries (the same twisty cut but covered in cinnamon-sugar and served with a chocolate drizzle).

Hawx is also launching brunch on Sunday with a petting zoo (complete with mini goats and micro pigs, because reasons...) starting at 11 a.m. Menu items will include chicken and red velvet pancakes with cream cheese glaze and "brisketcoa" tacos with Big Red, along with the necessary boozy pairings such as mimosas, bellinis, micheladas and bloody marys.
