A new location for the local sports bar/game room chain, Slackers, is on its way to the St. Mary's Strip this January.

Owner Mike Salinas and partner Wallace Harding opened the first location in early 2014 off Rector with old and new school arcade games, a Wii for Mario Kart racing, several flat screens for basketball and football games, a craft beer list and frozen cocktails. They went on to open a second location off Nacogdoches in 2016 with the same concept. The third spot will feature more of the same in a smaller footprint alongside the recently opened Eternal Courage Tattoo shop and TBA.
