Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
is upon us, San Antonio. Though some of us can indulge in bowls of pasta without having to run a marathon, runners of the event will want to check out these specials offered by local restaurants to load up on carbs before the big race begins and after it ends. Here a few perks runners should definitely take advantage of this year.

Little Italy Restaurant & Pizzeria's inaugural Pastathon features an all-you-can-eat buffet with four different kinds of pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine and penne) and four different kinds of sauces (Alfredo, marinara, pesto or meat sauce). Guests will be able to build their pasta to their liking and will dine in The Big Apple, a private dining room, where runners can mingle with one another. $20 per person, 5-10pm, December 1-2, 824 Afterglow St.,
(210) 349-2060.

Tre Trattoria will feature a three-course prix-fiex including but not limited to their signature Caesar salad, Yukon gold potato and leek bisque, house-made campanelle with bolognese, pan seared salmon, seasonal fruit crostada and lemon pound cake. $26.95 per person, December 1-2, 4003 Broadway,
(210) 805-0333.

Pete's Tako House is giving 15 percent off to runners who bring their bib or medal (alcohol excluded) after the race is over. 502 Brooklyn Ave.,
(210) 224-2911.

Yard House is giving runners 10 percent off their check (alcohol excluded) when runners bring their Rock 'N' Roll marathon bib, medal, or volunteer shirt. 849 E. Commerce St., (210) 354-3844.
