Just shy of two months after a fire in a storage area, Chris Madrid's is reopening, though in a much different kitchen.

Owners shared an update on Facebook late Sunday night for longtime fans. Though they are still renovating the eatery, located on Blanco Road, Chris Madrid's will now be available via food truck.

In November, the owners teased about reopening in pop-up form or a temporary location.

But with reopening plans finalized, the owners said they'll be picking up the truck, customized with the Chris Madrid's signature logo, later this week. They also said the truck will make a few stops at various charities to "bless others" as they practice working out of the mobile kitchen.

Stay tuned for updates on where the truck will be stopping.
