Less than a month after announcing plans for a food truck, Chris Madrid's is reopening – this time at a temporary location.

The SA-favorite burger spot shared an update on its Facebook page last Friday, saying that they will be serving cheeseburger goodness from an outdoor operation located across the street from the original restaurant.

In the Facebook post, new owners Richard Peacock said the reopening is dependent on how operations went on Friday and to check for updates on when it would be open or not.

He also asked customers to be patient with the restaurant's staff since they're "trying out a few new systems for the first time." Peacock also recommends customers giving feedback so that they can improve.
As far as the original location, of which parts of the building suffered fire, smoke and water damages, owners had this to share in the comments.
