Girl Gang will be hosting Wilderness Girls JAMBOREE brunch at Paramour this Sunday, February 25. The San Antonio all-female bartender collective will be mixing and stirring classic brunch drinks such as mimosas and bloody marys, but also concoctions using such spirits as Caffe del Fuego, Old Forester and Chambord from 11am-3pm.
Paramour chef Cidney Wilcox and Hotel Emma’s pastry chef, Karen Sarver will come up with the brunch bite menu.
Titled Jamboree, referring to the Girl Scouts' annual gathering (a camping/festival/party), there will be lots of khaki love and cookies (of course). San Antonio’s very own queen Kristi Waters will lead the homage to Phyllis Nefler
, fictional troop leader from the 1989 movie “Troop Beverly Hills” played by Shelley Long.
Five dollars from each cocktail and Korbel bottle sold will be donated to Thrive Youth Center, Inc.
, a non-profit organization who is dedicated to supporting homeless LGBTQ youth exit homelessness and “become empowered, self-sufficient and successful young adults.”
