Chipotle Mexican Grill will page nurses with a “Code Burrito” deal Tuesday, June 5 to show appreciation for our nation’s scrub-wearing heroes.

“Nurses are some of the most selfless people and make such significant contributions to our society day in and day out,” said Chipotle Chief Communications Officer Laurie Schalow in a statement. “Every year, we want to make sure we do a little something to make them feel appreciated and ensure all that they do doesn’t go unnoticed.”

Nurses who bring valid identification, such as a hospital ID or nursing license, will be treated to a buy-one-get-one-free deal on burritos, bowls, salads and orders of tacos. The offer is dine-in only and restricted to one menu item per ID while requiring a purchase of an entrée of equal or greater value.

All types of nurses are included in this deal, such as RN, NP, CRNA, CNS, CNM, LVN, CNA and “local equivalents or analogues,” Chipotle shared. Nurses, head over to Chipotle STAT.
