A Request for Interest
was issued earlier this week, for two properties identified as State Archeological Landmarks: the upstairs of Schultze House and a portion of Pereida House.
Per a release, the Schultze House is a recreation of a home first torn down to make way for the Convention Center in 1967, and Pereida House was built in 1883. The space available for lease inside Pereida previously housed SwellCycle (formerly BCycle).
Ideal tenants would function as park activators. Suggested shops include "health/wellness, light restaurant/beverage, bookstore, candy shop, children’s store, art/craft shop and other retail uses."
The tenants would join Dough Pizzeria Napoletana, Con/Safos, CommonWealth and Paleteria San Antonio in activating the park.
