Six local chefs — working with Dean & Peeler Premium Beef
and Seersucker Southern Style Gin
— will bring specialty eats, cold cocktails and outdoor games to the Chefs Backyard BBQ Party
at Meadow on May 19.
Event attendees will have a chance to try a variety BBQ favorites, each prepared by a different chef, and cooked over open flames. The chef lineup includes Heather Nanez of Bohanan's, Mark Weaver of Periphery, Ceasar Zepeda of Sangria on the Burg, Edward Garcia III of Box Street Social, Patrick Bellenoit of Meadow and chef Joe Gallero.
The backyard party will also host a hot dog eating contest, live music performances, yard games and a child-friendly bounce house. Seersucker cocktails will be available on site, while the festivities go on from 4-7 p.m.
