Poptails, your favorite frosty summertime treats all grown up, are back at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk until September 15. The cocktails are available to order at both of the hotel's bars — Dorrego's and Naranja Bar.
"These cooling treats are always a big hit with both hotel guests and local residents," stated Stacy Seaborn, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk’s sales and marketing director. "This year, our talented mixologists have come up with two new poptail offerings that are sure to bring out the inner kid in our hotel guests and San Antonio residents alike."
If you can't make it to the Riverwalk right away, the Hotel Valencia team has included a couple of recipes for you to try out.
Mango/Tajin Popsicle Recipe
(Recipe makes one-half gallon)
- 24 oz. Orange Juice
- 24 oz. Mango puree
- 14 oz. Water
- 1/2 cup Tajin chili lime seasoning
Mix all ingredients and transfer into popsicle molds filled three-quarters full. Freeze, then drop one popsicle into the margarita cocktail and serve.
(Recipe make one-half gallon)
- 40 oz. Orange Juice
- 10 oz Vanilla Schnapps
- 10 oz. water
- 6 oz. cherry juice
Mix all ingredients and transfer into popsicle molds filled three-quarters full. Freeze, then place one popsicle into a coupe glass filled with prosecco and serve.
