A great food truck experience will require you to move, connect and explore eats outside of your comfort zone. This month, Hyatt Regency San Antonio
, located on the corner of Losoya and Crockett, is hosting several food trucks, so there's plenty of opportunities to fall in love with new dining options and destinations.
Poke Man Sushi Bowl //
Build the poke bowl of your dreams, starting with a rice or salad base and choosing from dozens of fresh produce, sauce, seafood and protein options. Top it all off with a healthy sprinkling of wasabi, furikake or ginger. Saturday, May 25 from noon-2 p.m., and again from 5 p.m.-midnight; Friday, May 31 5 p.m.-midnight
Go’Shen Point BBQ //
This humble food truck takes the time to slow cook its meats over a low, woodburning fire for hours before customers arrive. Both local and out-of-state fans will tell you that nothing beats Go'Shen Point's old-school approach to great BBQ, especially when it comes to its brisket. Friday, May 24 5 p.m.-midnight and Sunday, May 26 4 p.m.-midnight.
Fresh Horizons “Fresh Truck” //
Can't decide between tacos, burgers or a personal order of queso and chips? The “Fresh Truck” has you covered with a solid lineup of food and drink options. Friday, May 17 5 p.m.-midnight; Saturday, May 18 noon-2 p.m., and again 5 p.m.-midnight.
Transylvania Treats //
There's nothing spooky about Transylvania Treat's chimney cake, a traditional Romanian sweet bread that is baked to order. The unique cake's cylindrical shape offers a crispy exterior with a fluffy bread and your preferred sweet toppings. Thursday, May 23 5 p.m.- midnight; Thursday, May 30 5 p.m.- midnight.
