"Hello! When I came to ADL they found out I had an ear infection, heartworms, and a chemical burn on my body. The ADL veterinarian team treated me immediately and I’m now doing so much better! I am clear of my ear infection, I’m currently going through heartworm treatment and my burns are quickly healing. Overall, I am a chill dog, especially when I’m in a car. I will sit patiently in the backseat and enjoy the ride. I like yummy treats and like most bulldogs will drool like mad for them. I even know how to sit for treats and I know I can learn more tricks. Nobody knows what I went through before I got here but I’m ready to leave the past behind me. I’m now looking forward to a bright future in a loving home of my own with someone who will love me forever."

"Don’t I look proud to have a friend next to me and happy to be getting petted? I am, but it took a lot to let down my guard so it would happen. I’m a friendly girl, but I’m new here and it’s hard not to be scared every time something new happens. I’m really looking forward to finding my forever home so I can get comfortable once and for all and just love my new family and know they love me."

"I am big and somewhat of a handful, but that’s just because I get so excited to see people when I’m in a kennel all day. I’m really a very sweet boy and I love people of all sizes a lot. I was a stray and a nice family took me in and kept me while they were waiting for an opening here, and they said lots of nice things about me. They say I know how to walk nicely on a leash but that I need a yard because I need a lot of exercise. I play well with children – I was very good with their 3-year-old and would kiss her when she hugged my neck and leaned all over me. I would lie quietly next to the girl’s mother while she worked or cooked. I’m a great family dog and I really want another family to love. Here I am – come get me!"
