The new Girl in a Coma video is out, thanks to the folks at Transistor Six in Austin, an all-analogue project inspired by the BBC's Peel Sessions. The bands are invited to perform at Frank and record a few tracks, and the shows are filmed on Super 8. Credits goes to GIAC, Supply Co's Rachel Stuckey (filming and editing), and Media Tech's Matt Howard and Ford Hook (sound engineering and mixing).
The video was filmed during an unannounced gig in the middle of the week, so Transistor Six had no idea how many people would show up.
"We can say that it was the largest turnout we had to date," said Cory Llewellyn at Transistor Six's website. "There was a line out the door and around the block."
So here's the result, and I love it. What do you think? — Enrique Lopetegui
